Oubliette - Corsets abound

I love corsets. I have a green chinese silk corset, a red two piece corset, a black wench corset, a mid nipple longline corset, a white waist sincher corset, a black waist sincher corset, a burgandy corselette, a black cross front corset top, and I'm very sure I am missing one or two.. since I know I have 8 of them that sinch and about 3 that don't. Math was never my strong point.

So when I put on corsets in SL, I'm pretty dissatisfied with them. Why? cause they lay on the skin and they don't cinch the waist. Thats sad. A corset should make you want for breath. The fun of a corset is creating a body type that you don't have naturally, or that isn't available in nature at all honestly.

I made two kinds, Real sinchers. Corsets that squish your SL body into something wholy unrealistic and beautimus. Ones a real sincher and the other is a long line corset.. means it smooshes all your parts so they spill out the top and the bottom.. giving you a nice round butt and tits that sit up around your neck, where they belong. They come in lots of colors and styles.

The Unreal cinchers, the black corset here, are called that because in order for your waist to get that small, you need to first have your spine removed. SL isn't real life. We get to play out a fantasy here that we can't in real life. I'm totally good with making things that would be unrealistic. The texture is hand drawn by me to look like latex and have JUST the right shine.

The long line corset is built with external boning that is colored differently than the rest of the corset. There are even more colors in this, including, if you dare, the Nightmare set. The long line was the hardest to make, because getting all the prims to flow nicely together was a chalange. They say if you don't learn something in a day, its a wasted day. I learned.. I learned a LOT that day.

Categories on blogging... what is that all about? Subject: more shit from me Category: written word vomited all over the screen. NOW lets see who reads on.So I'm sitting here building a new piece, cool stuff... actually I've stopped building it to write my thoughts down. Anyway, I'm sitting here building this new stuff.. and I'm thinking about all the half projects I've done a quarter of cause some friend of mine came to me and said "Oh your doing that.. here let me show you this already done way fabulous and scripted piece that talks for you and does everything except get you a tissue".

So.. I have a lot of half finished things that are more thoughts than actual pieces because, honestly, its already been done. I am not a big one for band wagons. I'm also not afraid to invest a few linden into something I really want so pretty much if it already exists, I'll buy it and just add it to my inventory of really cool shit that I have way too much of rather than perusing my idea and making it.A few things that I've ended out not making because it was shown to me that it already exists: forniphilia poses, rope dresses, yes prims, cuffs, arm restraints,

......OH RealRestraints.. While an awesome idea and greatly primmed and scripted, they are not associated with me, I don't even know the woman. I may have been the first to do mass shibari out of prims, but that doesn't mean I have a hand in everything out there now. Please stop asking me for tech assistance or where you can buy this item. back to listing: Animations, AOs I'm actually working on, or rather, sitting on a demure submissive AO. The big ones that I set aside were the rope dresses and the forniphilia. I had poses ready and working on when I was shown these items in other stores. Though it lead to some wonderful associations, I was sad to see it had already been done.

Although they say "Nothing is original in SL" I still think I'd like to give this stuff a shot. I just don't want to feel like I'm hopping on a band wagon. I believe if you can make it bigger, better, lower prim, easier, or have fun making it, then make it. That isn't true for any of this. The only claim to fame I will have with any of the ideas in my head is my care in making poses and the fact its mine. I've been told that I should talk to Zoe Llewellyn about this. Well Zoe, if you're reading this, I'd like your views. Everyone else's too!

Yeah.. so I'm not origional in my titles. Anyone that shops at my stores know that... sue me. I've decided to focus the blog around Oubliette rather than any personal stuff that I could write. I could tell you about how my roleplay sucks, that I've been standing reletivly alone in my shop for three days while I've worked my fingertips bloody.. Oh wait.. that IS a good start. Ok then..

Bloody fingertips. I've recently put everything for Oubliette up in SLX. I've been in SLX for some time, but haven't put anything up there in like.. sixteen hundred months. It took me two solid days to rebuild the store this time and to put everything up on SLX so I was happy with it.

I hope it will pay off.. cause the god's truth.. slx is a bloody waste of time. I never make any sales on it. I just pray people do like I do; surf slx till they find something of interest, and then go to the store front to see what it REALLY looks like. Thats all I want. I don't do this stuff for the sales.. I do it cause i want to make it and I'm curious who else likes it. My inspiration comes from many sources and is sometimes slow. Keep an eye out, when Oubliette seems to be slow in the output, Psycho is kicking. One must put a little silly into thier fantasy. If I'm not horny or giggling while making something.. its not worth putting on the shelf.Here.. have a bit of history.

Being the first post, it seems fitting. Why I started building my shibari. I ran across this poseball at Master and Slave that I really liked, and while bored out of my skull one day in the social room I used to always hang in, I started putting prims around it. I'll put the piece out in the show room floor so you can see my first piece if you're interested. But its nearly exactly the same as ShibariFree. But boredom isn't the reason I started the store. I started making the Shibari because when I started two years ago, if you did a search for bondage, you got all these tools, spankers, floggers etc. In a search for Shibari ONE place showed up. Udderly Wonderful Creations. It doesn't even exist anymore, but I have everything she ever made in shibari and many of her clothes. All her stuff was packaged in this great little cow print bag. I love a sence of humor like that so I was a faithful customer. It worked great for a time.. but her rope dresses were on the clothing layer, and I wanted prims. No one else made Shibari back then, So I started. I got a hold of making the prims pretty quick, but while I was working on the ropes for the M&S pose, I realised that working with someone elses premade pose was just frustrating, because it didn't quite have the element I wanted. I figured if I was gonna make these.. i was gonna do it all and not use someone elses work as a start. I even made the rope texture. Well.. there's your history. I can still name where each piece came from. Of course some were commissions and are named after those people, but most were from scenes or more often, from pictures here and there. I have the most amazing scene logged from when i was actally building Suspended Inverted... Maybe someday I'll change the names of the guilty and post it to be read.

Oh talking about pictures! Katerina and CoyoteJack are making a graphic novel in SL featuring my stuff. I'll have a kiosk up with the magazine for sale in the store. Im so excited. One of my recent shibari pieces, Damsel in Distress, was made specifically for them!So much for not having anything to talk about.
